    Leadership and culture, lived day‑to‑day

Growing a business often means promoting good people into management — and then realising they’re carrying more pressure, responsibility and people challenges than anyone prepared them for.

CoMotion provides leadership development for growing organisations that want calm, confident and consistent leadership, without generic training or quick fixes. We partner with purpose and values led SMEs to strengthen leadership behaviours, support managers and embed cultures where values are lived day to day and people can do meaningful, sustainable work.

Our core approach is simple: we raise leaders’ self‑awareness so they can deliver the outcomes your business is working towards in a human‑first way.

If you’re looking for leadership development for SMEs that feels practical, human and grounded in the lived experience of organisational life, you’re in the right place.

    This might feel familiar…

    • You’ve grown, and expectations have shifted
    • Good people have been promoted into management
    • You’re starting to notice strain and inconsistency

    That might show up as:

    • managers firefighting day‑to‑day and feeling out of their depth
    • uneven standards: strong intentions, inconsistent leadership habits
    • ongoing challenges with feedback, boundaries, performance or conflict
    • culture feeling less intentional than it once did

This is common at this stage of growth and it’s also a signal: leadership needs support, not more pressure.

    Our approach

    practical, human, values‑led

Our approach is rooted in CLARITY – a leadership framework that helps people lead with confidence, self‑awareness, strong relationships and sustainable energy as responsibility increases.

We focus on human leadership at work: what leaders actually do day to day - the conversations they have, the decisions they make, the behaviours they model and the relationships they shape - not just leadership theory that sounds good on paper.

This is leadership and culture development that is:

    • Structured – so it’s repeatable, scalable and usable as organisations grow
    • Human – so it reflects real pressures, complexity and lived experience at work
    • Aligned – so leadership behaviours match the culture, values and accountability you want to embed

As a purpose‑led CIC working with many B Corp aligned organisations, our work sits firmly in ethical leadership development. That means clear boundaries, practical tools and leadership impact you can genuinely stand behind.

What changes when you work with us

Our programmes build self‑awareness first because leaders can’t consistently deliver clarity, accountability and culture without confidence, trust and the human skills underneath.  You can expect to see:

    • more confident, consistent people leadership across teams
    • stronger communication and healthier day‑to‑day conversations
    • clearer expectations and accountability that doesn’t feel harsh
    • managers who understand their impact and lead with intention
    • a culture that’s lived through behaviour — not just values on a wall

    Leadership Development Pathways

We offer three levels of leadership development support.

Each pathway is designed for a cohort of up to 10 leaders.

We start with a conversation to understand your priorities and the outcomes you’re working towards, then recommend the pathway that best fits — tailoring where needed to maximise impact.

    Leadership Foundations

A structured pathway for new and emerging leaders stepping into management for the first time, providing clarity, confidence and consistency without overwhelm.

    What’s included:

    • A 7‑month leadership programme built around the CLARITY framework for up to 10 leaders
    • An in‑person launch and foundations day to set shared expectations and direction
    • Monthly leadership masterclasses focused on practical, real‑world scenarios
    • Peer mentoring sessions to support reflection, learning and accountability
    • A practical leadership toolkit with tools, prompts and templates
    • Impact tracking and end‑of‑programme insights
    • Community access for up to 10 nominated employees

    Best for:

Organisations supporting first‑time or emerging managers who want to build strong leadership foundations and greater consistency as they grow.

    Indicative investment: from £12,000

    Leadership & Behavioural Insight

Everything in Leadership Foundations, plus deeper behavioural insight and stronger organisational alignment.

This pathway builds shared language and self‑awareness, supporting leaders to understand how they lead, why patterns show up and how behaviours shape culture.

    Additional elements include:

    • PRISM behavioural profiling for all participants
    • Group behavioural insights to build shared understanding and language
    • Alignment conversations to shape programme focus and priorities
    • Tailored scenarios and sector‑relevant case examples
    • Guided reflection and preparation to support meaningful learning
    • Mid‑point and end‑point alignment sessions to consolidate insight and direction
    • Community access for up to 15 employees

    Best for:

Organisations focused on self aware leadership, stronger alignment and a more intentional, values‑led culture.

    Indicative investment: from £16,000

    Leadership & Culture Alignment

Our most in‑depth pathway combining senior alignment, individual reflection and shared responsibility for culture over time.

Includes everything from Leadership & Behavioural Insight, plus:

    • Individual 1:1 coaching for each participant
    • A senior leadership alignment workshop to strengthen shared direction and accountability
    • Priority access to guidance and support as challenges arise
    • Community access for up to 20 employees

    Best for:

Organisations seeking cultural shift, senior leadership alignment and long‑term leadership impact.

    Indicative investment: from £18,000

    Additional Leadership and Culture Support

These options add flexibility and continuity supporting leaders with real‑time challenges and keeping culture connected to day‑to‑day lived experience.

You can engage with these as stand alone pieces or in conjunctions with a leadership pathway.

    Annual Culture Pulse Review

A lightweight annual check‑in designed to understand how leadership behaviours and culture are landing across the organisation over time.

This review helps organisations pause, listen and take stock.  Providing a clear, evidence‑informed picture of what’s working well, where pressure or misalignment may be building and where small, intentional adjustments could make the biggest difference.

The Culture Pulse Review is particularly useful for organisations that want to maintain momentum, demonstrate learning and support continuous improvement, without launching a full culture programme.

    Includes:

    • A short culture and leadership survey
    • Optional focus groups to deepen understanding and context
    • A concise insights summary highlighting themes, strengths and risks
    • Practical recommendations leaders can act on with confidence

    Best for:

Organisations seeking a proportionate, repeatable way to stay connected to lived culture and leadership impact as they grow and evolve.

Indicative investment: £1,200–£2,800 (depending on depth)

    Peer Mentoring Groups

Facilitated monthly peer mentoring groups for managers and leaders who benefit from shared reflection, perspective and support as they navigate the realities of leadership.

These groups create a psychologically safe space for leaders to step back from day‑to‑day pressure, learn from others facing similar challenges, and think more clearly about how they lead. They support ongoing development by normalising reflection, learning and honest conversation over time.

Peer mentoring groups are particularly effective for maintaining momentum, embedding learning from other leadership programmes, and supporting leaders as expectations and complexity evolve.

    Includes:

    • Monthly facilitated peer mentoring sessions
    • A consistent group to build trust, openness and shared learning
    • Structured reflection using practical leadership frameworks
    • Space to explore live challenges and leadership impact

    Best for:

Leaders who value ongoing reflection, shared learning and sustained support, and organisations looking to strengthen leadership capability beyond one‑off interventions.

Indicative investment: from £75 per month

    Manager Surgery Sessions

Focused, time‑boxed problem‑solving sessions for managers navigating live people challenges such as performance issues, conflict, workload pressures or team dynamics.

These sessions provide immediate, structured support – helping managers step out of firefighting mode, think clearly, and take confident, values‑aligned action in real situations.

    Includes:

    • 60–90 minute structured sessions, focused on one specific challenge
    • Clear frameworks and practical tools to guide thinking and decision‑making
    • Action‑focused outcomes, leaving managers with clarity and next steps

    Best for:

Managers needing timely, practical support to handle complex situations well, without escalation or overwhelm.

Indicative investment: £250 per session with bundle discounts available

    How we work

We don’t offer open‑ended consultancy or off‑the‑shelf retainers.

Every partnership starts with a conversation to understand where your leaders are right now, the pressures they’re navigating and the kind of culture you want to sustain as your organisation evolves. From there, we design leadership support that fits your people, your values and your reality.

Our work is structured, intentional and proportionate. We focus on creating clarity, building capability and supporting leaders in ways that are genuinely useful – not adding noise, theory or unnecessary complexity.

As a purpose led, B Corp aligned CIC, we care deeply about ethical leadership, sustainable work and human‑centred growth. We’re based in the South West and love working with local organisations, while also supporting teams further afield.

If you’re exploring how to better support your leaders and strengthen your organisational culture, we’d love to have a conversation.

Get in touch to explore what support might be most helpful for your organisation and whether we’re a good fit to work together.
